Hucknall won women's Championship 2 for a second year at Leeds University today, retaining a 100 per cent record in the promotion mini league with a 6-4 defeat of Manchester Comets.
Goals by Laura Woodfield built an early 3-0 lead and the advantage increased to 6-1 before Comets made a belated response. English Roses and the Comets join Hucknall in Division Two next season.
