Luca Pollock, who scored four goals, led a dramatic fightback at Bolton by Portobello, who were 8-4 down early in the last period against Welsh Wanderers before drawing 11-11. Dan Laxton’s fourth goal edged Wanderers 11-10 ahead only for Ed Grundy to net the final Portobello goal with a minute left.

In men’s Division 3, Rotherham raced into a 6-nil lead against Hucknall, who recovered sufficiently to level at 8-8 in the last. At that point, Rotherham stirred again and won 11-8 with goals by Sam Swainson, Oliver Vodden – his fifth – and Craig Mellors.
Late goals by Harrison Walsh, Aaron Downer and Jeroen Cornelissen rescued a point for Cheltenham Spartans against Castleford. Castleford had led 9-6 after three periods.
Croydon briefly edged into an 11-10 lead in the final quarter against Southampton, who hit back with goals by Charles Roberts, Jacob Graham, Jean-Christophe Heib and Dan Shun to win 14-11. Worthing defeated the British Army 10-6 after taking a 5-nil first quarter lead.
