Great news! The finale of the women's and men's Super 5s campaign on 24 and 25 March is to receive major coverage on Sky Sports!
Agreement has been reached for filming to take place at Haberdashers' Aske's School, Elstree, prior to editing into two one-hour match-of-the-day type programmes - one highlighting the women's competition, the other for men.
This is a brilliant coup for the BWPL - and perhaps the biggest boost for the sport in Great Britain since the 2012 Olympics, especially as the programmes will be shown several times on various Sky Sports channels in the week after the event.
Crucially, it has also enabled the League to secure a much-needed main sponsor - details to be announced shortly.
The whole package has only been made possible thanks to the fantastic support of "friends of the League", covering everything from the actual production of the programmes and artwork through to substantial, all-important funding.
