Coventry made their Super 5s progression virtually certain by completing an impressive hat-trick of wins in women’s Division 1 at the local Alan Higgs Centre. Today’s success – 16-12 against Liverpool Lizards – featured five goals by Amy Berry and four from Sophie Linney.
Champions Manchester maintained their easy progress to the Super 5s by making it four wins from four matches. Brooke Tafazolli claimed a hat-trick in the 11-6 victory over her former club Otter.
Sheffield Sharks beat Caledonia 15-10, with Bernice Cowton (4), Danielle Eliot (3) and Amelia Peters (3) on target. India Wilkinson (4) and Kayleigh Schultz (3) led the Hucknall scoring in a 9-7 defeat of Tyldesley.
