Invicta teams experienced mixed fortunes in men's matches at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, today.
The seniors went down 11-4 to Sheffield, who went clear by scoring five in the last period - by Joel Abbott (2), Alex Gaywood, Stefano Cossutti and Arshia Keyghobadi.
Invicta Marlins fared better in Division 5, beating Chester 14-10. Watford Saxons dominated the second period against Cambridge, progressing from 3-1 up to 10-2 and eventually winning 13-8.
Southampton won again in Division 4, defeating York City 16-7. Charles Roberts collected another six goals, taking his tally so far this season to 27.
