Polytechnic were held to a draw for the second time in Championship at Lancaster today, Caledonia salvaging a point at 8-8 when Andrew Woodall claimed a man-up goal with less than two minutes remaining.
The London team held a 3-1 advantage in the first period and recovered from 6-4 down to lead 7-6 in the third. The final quarter began with the sides locked at 7-7. Lorenzo Cacciolo quickly put Poly ahead, only for Woodall to equalise.
Solihull were always in charge against Welsh Wanderers after racing into a 4-0 lead in the opening four minutes. Eventually, they won 12-6, including five goals by Jordan Elliot.
Sheffield made it three wins out of three, beating Croydon 13-3, including four goals each for Joel Abbott and Chris Armstrong.
