In Division 1, Polytechnic drew 9-9 with Solihull after an Arthur Davies goal had the Midlanders 9-7 ahead at the start of the final period.
Nick Hock soon pulled one back for Poly. But it wasn't until 1.27 from the end that Pedro Finizola Stellet netted his sixth goal from a penalty to give his side a share of the points.
There was plenty of drama in Division 4.
Sheffield Dolphins drew 13-13 with the Army thanks to Nick Daly's goal 12 seconds from the end while Southampton maintained a 100 per cent record from four games with a 13-12 win against Tyldesley. Charles Roberts scored five for Southampton.
In Division 5, goals in the last minute and a half by Rob Williams and Steve Blassberg clinched an 11-9 victory for Coventry over Invicta Marlins.
