Watford ran out of steam after racing into a 4-0 lead against Sutton & Cheam in men’s Division 2 at Grantham and eventually went down 7-6.

Penguin resisted a late rally by Portobello to complete a 14-11 win while Exeter also won again - 16-8 against Caledonia.
