Invicta defeated Penguin 13-7 at Watford today, wrapping up the men's Championship 1 title and earning a return to the top flight at the start of next season.
With Sheffield securing second place by beating Bristol 11-7 - including seven goals from Joel Abbott - it left one promotion place still up for grabs. And that was all down to a scheduled last game decider - Polytechnic against old rivals Sutton & Cheam!
