Experienced left-hander Andy Holt led the way for Watford with six goals as they beat Sutton & Cheam 13-9 in the opening men's Championship 2 clash at Watford today.
Birmingham and Southampton fought out an exciting 11-11 draw. Southampton edged ahead 3-1 in the second period but Birmingham pulled it back to 7-7 by the end of the third and then, as the tension mounted, led 10-8 and 11-9.
Less than two minutes remained when Panagiotis Logothetis netted for Southampton. And it was left to Josh Maclean to grab the equaliser - with three seconds remaining!
