Sutton & Cheam have pulled off a spectacular coup at the start of the new BWPL season - by signing up THREE members of Great Britain's men's 2012 Olympic team.
There's no surprise about one of the recruits. Goalkeeper Matt Holland, a loyal Sutton player through and through, is back with the Division 2 club after seven years playing professionally in France, Holland and Spain.

But Holland is not available for one of the early weekends. And it just happened that City of Manchester's Ed Scott (pictured), now working as a doctor in London, made contact with Sutton - and will be available to fill in as an extremely capable understudy!
The third signing is Ciaran James, formerly of Lancaster. His goal-scoring ability will be particularly welcome to Sutton in the early stages of the campaign because their most experienced player - captain and talisman Chris Evans, the ex-GB forward - is out of action with cracked ribs.
