Coventry controlled the match after easing into a 4-1 first quarter lead. In the Yorkshire derby, Ness Cowton scored four times as City of Sheffield defeated Leeds 10-6.
In Division Two, Mid Sussex Marlins enjoyed two big victories - 16-9 against Welsh Wanderers (including seven by Danica Brazier) and 16-7 against Liverpool Water Beatles. Leaders West London Penguin also won twice, defeating the Water Beatles 12-3 and the Wanderers 13-7.
