City of Manchester and new BWPL champions Polytechnic have confirmed they will be entering this season’s men’s LEN Challenger Cup.
This could impact on the BWPL men’s Division 1 programme because, if one, or both teams, progress beyond the Challenger first qualification round in October, they will be involved in round two – which clashes with the League schedule at Aldershot, 4/5 November.
As a result, the League has reorganised the BWPL programme with the aim of minimising the impact on the whole division. See Fixtures page. Matches involving Manchester and Poly remain on the Aldershot schedule, but would be rearranged if the clubs have European commitments.
