Exeter retained their unbeaten record in women’s Division 2 at Haberdashers, defeating City of Bristol 15-8 today (13 November).
Later, Exeter withstood a late rally from Mid Sussex Marlins to clinch another win - 14-12. Nyah Tomlinson (4), Jasmin Coleman (3) and Lucy Chard-Maple (3) were the leading scorers.
Bristol improved their chances of a top five place – and progress to Championship 1 – by beating Welsh Wanderers 10-3.
Rotherham Metro made certain of Championship 1 progress by defeating Liverpool Liver Birds 10-6. The division’s leading scorer, Emily Crossley, took her tally for the season to 26 with a four-goal contribution.
