Steven Scott, a regular in the Birkenhead team that at one time was a powerhouse in British water polo, has died while on holiday in Lanzarote. His twin brother Tony, another former Birkenhead star, passed away last September.
In addition to playing for Birkenhead, Steven also represented Southport and England under-18s - and he was in the Birkenhead masters team that won bronze at the World Championships.
The funeral takes place at 2pm on 24 March at Landican Cemetery, Central Chapel, Arrowe Park Road, Wirral, CH49 5LW.
