It was another tight match, the London side leading 5-4 after two quarters but Coventry hit back to lead 7-6 - and then scored the only goal of the final quarter.
The men's competition produced another nail-biting finish as Portobello made up for their defeat earlier in the day by completing an excellent 12-11 victory over Cheltenham. The Scots led all the way through and were 12-9 up in the final quarter before Cheltenham rallied briefly. Leading marksmen for Portobello were Antonello Padolecchia (5) and Fraser Rutherford (4).
