After trailing 4-2 in the early stages, champions Cheltenham recovered strongly to defeat Super 5s rivals Bristol Central 19-11 at Lancaster.
Cheltenham scored six times in both the third and fourth periods. Perhaps the most satisfying aspect of the win was the contribution of youngsters Nick Armitage-Bond, aged 16, and 17-year-old Rudi Polster, who both notched hat-tricks. Rob Parker contributed five.
