Two goals by Tom Curwen at the start of the final period gave Lancaster a 9-8 lead against Caledonia. But a man-up opportunity led to Logan Shepherd's third goal for Caledonia with four minutes left; and it was Alasdair Campbell who notched the winner with 1.44 to go. Lancaster earned a man-up chance after that, but failed to convert.
Solihull raced into a 3-1 lead early on against Manchester. It was 4-4 midway through the second period and there were no more goals until Manchester scored three goals in three minutes at the start of the last through Eleftherios Chelioudalis, Rob Rae and Jack Wilczynski. Solihull rallied again and goals in the space of 21 seconds by Jordan Elliot and Morgan Hirsch brought them so close to stealing a point.
