BWPL Photography Policy

BWPL is a senior competition but also has junior players participating.  BWPL events must therefore comply with Swim England’s Wavepower Safeguarding Policy.  This includes a section on Photography Guidance - click here to view.

Before a photographer is granted access to a BWPL event they must confirm the following:
  • Access must be arranged with the BWPL Event Manager at least 5 days in advance.
  • The photographer must provide contact details & formal proof of ID.
  • The photographer must confirm adherence to Swim England Wavepower Photography Guidance.
  • BWPL staff instructions must be followed at all times during the event.
  • All pictures & videos taken at the event must be made available to the League.
  • BWPL is under no obligation to publish any pictures & video provided.
  • Any pictures & videos published by the League will be credited to the photographer.
  • Pictures & videos taken may be used elsewhere but must not be sold for profit.
  • Any picture or video taken which could be regarded as unflattering or inappropriate must not be published.

The BWPL Event Manager will ask the photographer to sign a form confirming acceptance on arrival at the venue.
