Southampton left it late to maintain their unbeaten record at the top of the table with a 13-12 win against Hucknall, who led 10-6 in the third period when Peppe Valentino scored his sixth goal. But Southampton cut the deficit to 11-10 by the start of the last and secured the points with late goals by Jacob Graham (2) and Christian Perress (Photo: Trevor Hyde).
Bridgefield won 11-10 against Otter – but only after being given a real scare by the London side. At one stage, Bridgefield were cruising with a 9-2 lead, but Otter were back to 11-6 in the final period and then scored quick goals in the last three minutes by Orion Ganase (2), Andrei Patemkin and Sasha Smeulders.
Bridgefield were out of luck in their earlier game, losing 13-12 to Rotherham Metro – Rotherham’s first success.
